Hohner Rocket Low

A rich deep sound, easy to bend the reeds as well as play a melody. It\'s my every day carry harp.

This harmonica is great for playing blues. Hohner makes various quality harmonicas, but this Low F is a workhorse. This harmonica is perfect and just what I thought it would be.

The packaging for shipping from Harmonicaland is sub-par. The harmonicas are placed in a thin bubble envelope and mailed. Therefore the plastic container that the harmonica sets in gets smashed and cracked during the careless handling during shipping.

This is my first purchase from harmonica land, and I can highly recommend them. They had great selection, good pricing, and very Speedy shipping with tracking. I\'ll be back for my next harmonica soon! Thanks!

Love the Hohner bass line of harmonica’s. Whether you get the Rocket Low or the Thunderbird, you can’t go wrong. I’m a repeat customer with HarmonicaLand and they do take care of their customers.

Overall very nice harp. Slightly louder than my Manji M20 except in the lowest notes, where the Manji shines, probably due to the expanded bottom covers on the Manji. It would be nice if Harmonicaland offered free UPS shipping. USPS is unreliable.

I\'m putting together a collection of harmonicas. After getting the normal keys (A, Bb, C, D, E, F, and G), I decided to grab some of the low keys (I\'ve got C, D, E, and F so far). Beyond that, I\'ve got a ton of C harmonicas... about 30, various makes and models. However, its getting to the point that the remaining different harps are getting expensive.

This one is good.

Read the reviews and decided on the rocket. I usually play Lee Oskar but like the sound of the rocket.

My mom bought me this for Christmas and reed #7 got busted after playing it for a few days.

I actually think it\'s a 10/10 but I didn\'t want to seem naive.

Tried it, but the low tuned Seydels have it beat. Gave it to a friend who had no low tuned harps.

Wanted to try a Rocket and love low keys. Plays well, but a little leaky. Needs some minor adjustments.

Foghorn Leghorn... LE or LF would have been a better choice for everyday play.

Thank you for my most recent purchase of a low F harmonica. I never have trouble finding my next Honer harmonica when I come to harmonica land.

Fantastic tone and response. Bending 2 draw is very difficult but doable. Cant bend 1 draw at all, but i wouldn\'t fault the harp as these low notes are known to be hard to bend. I would recommend a higher key (E or F) unless you are very comfortable with bending. Still sounds great though.

I have several special 20s and Seidel ?s. The rocket is everything they say it is.

Air tide, louder than I expected and very smooth comb. All around a great instrument.

Great sound out of the box, really easy to play, bend and shuffle. Powerful and deep bass.

Very good harp enjoy playing it very much but reeds seem to "stick" easily on Draw notes

The only issue I have with this harp at all is the rattle on the low notes, hitting the cover plate. Pretty negligible. Planning on purchasing a Thunderbird Low A next!

Great Harmonica and excellent on-line buying experience. This is the first of the "Low" octave harmonicas I bought. Despite lower register, still nicely responsive and beautiful sound.

Normally I play Special 20's. The Rocket took a little getting used to because the holes are slightly bigger than those of the Special 20's. I'm lovin' the Low F Rocket now. I recommend it.

I think I will give this harp a full 10 when I get better accustomed to playing it. It is a little different than the Golden Melody harp, at least to me. I do really like the melodious voice it has, especially for the music I play which is almost exclusively Gospel and Sacred. Hopefully will be in position financially to purchase more Low tuned harps in future.

The harmonicas are the best and they ship them out like lightening.

I love the sound and ease of use of the Hohner Rocket line and the low tuned harps are the best, being better than previous attempts by all manufacturers, including Hohner. Previously they all had a rattle in the cover plate and took twice the air to play. The entire rocket line takes less air to play because they are "more air tight', especially the low tuned harps. Rocket harps are like someone looked at the Special 20 and improved everything on it. The comb is plastic with the entire body improved by the rounded corners, making it more comfortable to hold. They are also louder than previous models, especially the Rocket Amp.
