Wow! Years ago I was dreaming of a better design for harmonica holders than what was on the current market, which was only 2 of them I believe, and they both were terrible in design, and having to tighten and loosen the wing nuts each time you wanted a break and then retightening when you put it back up for use was just simply a pain in the you know what. This holder solved all of that and so much more with it\'s fine adjustments that can be made to your ergonomic likings, and it remembers it\'s position when you let it down for a break or bring back up to it\'s playing position. GREAT invention in my opinion and light years ahead of anything still being sold out there.

The memory lock feature is great, but the adjustment screws do move a bit when stored in a bag with other stuff. The magnet retention is brilliant, and I haven\'t noticed any effect on the reeds. You do have to be intentional about placing the harp on the magnet exactly where you want it. It is way better than the old style holders with springs and thumb screws.

Some name-brand harps will not attach to the magnet - this should be referenced in product features copy.

Yup, it seemed like a lot to shell out for a horse-collar. But once this gadget clicks into place (and once adjusted to maximize the fit), it becomes a rock-solid platform for the harmonica, always just where it needs to be and to stay, which it does. Everything is finger-operable exceopt the angle of the harp platform itself, which just needs an Allen wrench to adjust.
Money very well spent, and beautiful job, you guys there at Seydel.

This harp holder is a big step up from the Old wing-nut and spring holders. The magnet holds the harmonica securely, the leather pads aid comfort, and the mechanism to adjust the angle works well. Highly recommended.

The Seydel Gecko is a very practical harmonica holder especially for use in jams. Tn jams the players often change keys and the gecko makes changing harmonicas a breeze. Wort the cost.

Best rack ever....
