Had a problem out of the box with some of the lower reeds sticking so that I skip a note on a quick run. Still working at it. Maybe I just need to get used to this harp\'s hole shape, spacing, and steel reeds.

I ordered this low Bb thinking it was the wooden comb Seydel Classic style. It turns out that Seydel makes their low key harps with this large bloated cover called a \"Bold Body\". This is to avoid reed slapping apparently. The website is misleading on this account as it fails to inform the consumer of this.

The holes are bigger than my seydel session steel harp much harder to play. I like playing the blue with side of my mouth the cover plate pulls my beard hair out very dissatisfied with this harp thanks Larry

All my playing career I have played only Hohner harmonicas. When I first tried my new Seydel, I found it was not loud. After a little more playing it started to reveal its depth. This is a very interesting instrument - gives you full control, pretty responsive, nice sound, I feel like you can get more out of it as you explore it. Definitely going to try Silver and Noble too.

The Seydel 1847 classic is their first model with stainless steel reeds. I am not sure if they really last longer but they sound great ! Very good blues harp great tone, holes are a bit larger than regular models and I had to adjust to this. Super fast shipping.
