Seydel Nonslider Chromatic harmonica

I have played diatonic for nearly 60 years, but chromatic never seemed to work. I had hoped this would be more like a diatonic scale, but it\'s not. Expensive mistake on my part. I was hoping for a harmonica that played like a diatonic, but one harp would have all the notes and I would not need a set of many keys anymore. I still have not found what I\'m looking for.

I really like the Orchestra Tuning Seydel Nonslider! The tuning is just right for the tunes I like to play. Gets a little lower than the low C so for me it\'s great. I can play so many tunes in a lower octave than the standard tuning. The Orchestra tuning has a nice mellow tone as well.

I will improve my control and tone using this no slider chromatic harmonica. It’s not easy to learn, but with time I’m confident it will benefit my play on 10 hole, tremolo and other harps.

New to slideless Chromatics but instrument was highly playable right out of the box … / tone / playability / craftsmanship all A+

The Seydel non slider harmonica is a very interesting concept for people like me who are beginners and want an easy harmonica to play and understand.

I love that it plays like any other solo-tuned harmonica in G, and the accidentals are just a slight lift. Easy to get used to and I prefer it to the slide. I will be getting more keys.

A bit early for a solid review from a novice player, but I love the quality and sound, Its tricky for me to get the single notes but I will. I like that there is no slide to get stuck. Had it only a short time and am very impressed so far.

Instrument seems solid and well built. Simple, clean assembly. Now let\'s see how long it takes to learn after years on a slide chromatic. Expect it to make some songs easier. Currently working on \"Take Five.\" Stay tuned.

I thought the price was great and the workmanship on the Nonslider Chromatic seems top notch. I\'ll need some time to actually get use to the tuning.
