At the heart of the instrument are our proven stainless steel reeds. This unique combination of soft and hard materials guarantees astonishing haptics and a very sophisticated tone.

Technical details:
- High-precision manufactured brass comb, polished to a high gloss and with special coating
- Covers made of highly polished brass; special coating with very good gliding properties - very lip-friendly, wide open on the back for undamped radiation of the overtone-rich sound
- Mouthpiece with very good gliding properties made of highly polished brass with special coating; crescent-shaped and with round channel openings
- Slide package - optimized for improved air-tightness; very good sliding properties due to fixed tolerances between mouthpiece and slide track
- Stainless steel reeds for a full, loud sound and fast response; extremely durable and tuning-stable even under heavy use
- German Silver reedplates with optimized flatness and minimal tolerances between reed and slot—ensuring less air consumption and greater efficiency
- Reliable valve action - proven, burled valve material
- Available in Solo or Orchestra tuning - (straight tuning: upper plate C; lower plate C#)

Seydel Volcany is a piece of artwork in solid brass. The stainless steel reeds play nicely and provide a bright sound.
Volcany is a major step up from the Seydel Saxony in terms of the smooth mouthpiece and airtightness.

Received my instruction DVD\'s, Volcano;C orchestra, & my Symphony harmonicas. I will say they lived up to all their 4 Star reviews. Both are works of fine craftsmanship, works of art. Looking to many years of enjoyment.
