Manji Sky offers light tone while Manji offers deep and thick tone. Please try and feel the difference between the two models.

MANJI SKY is good for a music with phrases that require vamp or quick note changes.

MANJI SKY has the same body as MANJI. The material used is resin mixed with wood fibers extracted from trees, which combines the tone of wood with the durability of plastic. Wood has countless small spaces, which is one of the reasons for the warm tone unique to wood. Similarly, the body also reproduces that structure inside. (*Cross-sectional view). The solid body reinforced with wood fibers produces a warm sound that is different from the tone created from ordinary plastic body, and because the body itself transmits the sound, it features a sound that sounds like the entire harmonica is groaning. There is no deformation caused by moisture, which is a problem with wooden body.

      MANJI's distinctive cover

MANJI SKY uses the same cover as the well-established MANJI. The cover shape with the entire back open is designed to allow the reed sound to resonate without loss. Large sound holes are also provided on the sides of the covers to provide the best sound return to the performer. It has a traditional shape to provide a player with exquisite hold feeling and sound projection.

      Good Harmonica!

This is my first Suzuki. It is good, easy to bend, the higher end needs some adjustments, but prefer the Hohner Blues, or the1847 better in comparison. But my new favorite and next few future purchases is
      The Hohner Crossover!
Another must have the Manji Sky M-20 S

This is is short dido of the many comments Harmonicaland has graciously allowed my to review again on Japanese brands In a nut shell I love the Manji Sky with there open ended side plates is I am one of those semi-high level players that insist on holding the harmonicas the wrongs way. The sound is comparable to many of the $60-$70 S and H bands with some keys that work better on some songs depending on my technic mode of the day. I\'ve mentioned before that the wood fiber infused resin reed plates are out of the world but found out later that they are made in Japan...you can get yours right here at Harmonicaland!
Made in Japan the Manji Sky in G

I\'m working on getting all 12 as I blow up my H and S brands...my new years resolution was to master the fine art of repairing abused reeds and I failed. But having said this the great news is that I can afford the Manji harmonica, I truly have fallen in love these $55 to $65 and love the pure tone and the little effort it takes to work through a comb made of wood fibers and pure resins the colors they chose aren\'t bad either...it feels like I\'m holding onto a mini amplifier of sort my new G and Bb were must haves and with an improved technic these should last longer than some of my $80-$100 harps....
