I\'ve been accumulating Rocket Harmonicad for most of the last year. While I can\'t afford to buy a whole set at once, even with discounts, I can afford one or two a month. Harmonicaland is my goto store for consistant availability and quality of Hohner harps.

Impressed from the first blow. Responsive, smooth on the lips, and wow, the volume is very noticeable. I currently have the Hohner Blues harp in A, C, D, E, and G. I took a chance on spending a few dollars more for the Rocket and now I would like more of them. Excellent Harp.

Well constructed, comfortable, and sounds good. I wanted to try a Rocket as my only plastic comb harp is a Special 20, and I wanted to try one with side vented cover plates. The comb is just as comfortable as the Special 20, and I like the way it sounds much better.

I call these my Grey Rocket\'s and when you blast off on one these they will not disappoint as with there Green cousins that are equally loud you will find there priceline big time affordable. The Grey Progressive\'s vent a high decibel sound through there side venting while there green brothers are closed plated...don\'t get overly caught up between the two as they will both blow your ear drums out with any technic!

Larger holes than special 20, more like Lee Oskar. Sounds great, and all reeds respond and bend well. Gonna try some other brands for fun but I really like this Rocket. Delivered fast and in prefect condition.

Happy so far with the Hohner Rocket. I also use Hohner Crossovers, Lee Oskars, and Special 20's. Sometimes I have to replace a harp quickly, because of an upcoming gig. So I am at the mercy of whatever the local music store has. I generally have back ups for all my harps. Now that I have been using Harmonicaland , it's easy to get them quickly.

These harps are air tight and surprisingly loud. If you're looking for an improved Special 20 with a little brasher, less round sound, give these a try. Excellent rock/blues tone. I plan to lower the reed gaps to better suit my playing style.

First off I would like to say that this is not the first harmonica purchase I have made nor my first Honher Rocket in the key of C. The first Rocket I purchased was a night and day difference in quality over this Rocket. The #3 hole draw never was right on this harmonica. It was literally un playable due to the reed being too long on the #3 hole. It was completely dead. I never could get the harmonica to play cleanly so I gave it to my 18 month old son to finish tearing the rest the way up. Completely disappointed in this harmonica. I made this purchase with the Rocket literally right at the top of my list, along with Honher Crossovers, and Suzuki mantis, however after my experience with this harmonica I would not even consider the Rocket worth purchasing, even though I realize that some products have defects.
