10 hole diatonic harmonica, solo tuned
The Orchestra Seydel harmonica is a remarkable addition to any musician's arsenal. Crafted with precision and designed for exceptional playability, this harmonica stands out in its class.
At first glance, you'll notice its striking red comb, made from high-quality carmine red plastic. But the Orchestra Seydel is more than just a visually appealing instrument. It boasts corrosion-free stainless steel reeds, ensuring longevity and a consistent, clear tone.
What sets the Orchestra Seydel apart is its unique solo tuning. Unlike traditional Richter-tuned harmonicas, the Orchestra S places the root note at hole 3-blow. This innovative design allows for an extended lower octave, enriching your musical repertoire.
For those who've struggled with missing notes on standard harmonicas, the Orchestra S is a game-changer. Say goodbye to complicated bending techniques. With this harmonica, you can effortlessly hit the notes that were once elusive. The diatonic major scale's root note is even marked on the cover plate, starting at 3 blow.
Compact yet powerful, the ten-hole design of the Orchestra-S ensures portability without compromising on sound quality. It's an ideal soloing instrument, allowing you to carry your melodies wherever inspiration strikes.
The note layout mirrors that of a chromatic harmonica, making the Orchestra S an excellent starting point for those venturing into chromatic playing. Its compact size and SEYDEL's renowned durability also make it a top choice for musical education in schools.
Blues harmonica players will find a wealth of new possibilities with the Orchestra S. Playing minor pieces (3rd position) becomes a breeze, thanks to the solo-tuning. The sound closely resembles solos played on a chromatic, adding a unique dimension to your blues repertoire. Additionally, the extended major scale in the lower register opens up even more creative avenues.
Crafted with a plastic comb, the Orchestra Seydel is recommended for beginners, ensuring a comfortable and smooth playing experience. Its versatile nature makes it a versatile companion for blues enthusiasts, providing an authentic and rich musical experience."
Love yr instruments but mistakenly ordered Orchestral G harp . Realized mistake in first couple seconds of playing - low end tuning is different to diatonic Session Steel , my favorite.?
So for what's it worth please make sure you select the right tuning this is a solo tuning not a standard tuning.
