Ross Walters is a seasoned professional saxophone and harmonica player from Nashville.

Students will gain a foundation starting with mastering the major scales in four keys and then progressing on to mixolydian and dorian scales and arpeggios. Foundational technique will be put to use in a fun and practical manner as Ross uses the framework of the 12-bar blues to teach improvisation over this familiar set of chord changes. Volume 1 covers the keys of C, F, G, and D.

Ross Walters lives in Nashville, TN where he is currently a member of the Jimmy Church Band. Ross was a member of Donna Summer’s touring band for 7 years and also played on the platinum-selling Live & More Encore album released in 1999. Ross also toured with contemporary Christian artist Carman for 2 years. Ross spent 1o years traveling the world with healing evangelist Benny Hinn playing multiple wind instruments. He makes an appearance on flute on the Moog Flava Mix of Boyz II Men “Thank You” which also went platinum. In addition to playing saxophone, flute and harmonica Ross also sings, writes, and plays piano, bass clarinet, and pennywhistle. He has released 4 albums as a leader.
