Always thought F harp was too high and thin, but this great for C or G blues! Really rich chord sound in lowest octave. It bends well right out of the box!

I have been searching for a set of low toned harmonicas. After buying several other brands and models, I decided on trying the thunderbird Key of C, because I had read that they were designed specifically to avoid having reeds rattle.

While I had high hopes, I can’t say that the thunderbird is as good as I hoped. There is certainly less rattling than some other models I’ve tried, but there is a buzzing sound on the 1 and 2 holes that I do not like. It is usable, but certainly not I had expected, given the reviews and the price.

I\'m finding the Thunderbird is a little harder to play. It takes a little more breath. It\'s new so I\'m going to keep at it because I haven\'t played it that much yet.

The low C Thunderbird is the new 365, with that low \" Sugar Blue / Sonny Boy\" sound.
A very sturdy harp, but bring some lung power, Great acoustic or amped up.

Hohners thunderbird llF hermonica is one of the best low keyed hermonica ls iv ever played. Tunning very good. Notes play well. Just a great sound that tends to accompany the marine band line up

Been enjoying playing the house building song in this bad boy. Upper notes are very specific on the amount of pressure they need to produce sound but other the sound is amazing!

THIS Hohner thunderbird low a has a very nice sweet sound on all REEDS thanks now i have a good low a, g , c, and ff all nice i did purchase a low bb that sounded terrible i used it for parts......4-5 not bad THANKS AGAIN.

I just recently learned about these low-tuned Thunderbird harps and had to have one. After shopping around, Harmonicaland beat Amazon on the price by several dollars & free shipping.

It sounds beautifully and all of the reeds work fine.

I couldn’t be happier with the investment. They’re not cheap, but they’re worth it—well built with extra room for the lower reeds to vibrate.

Steve was very helpful to my understanding of the Thunderbird Key designations. He was patient,and did not hurry me even though I asked him the same questions using different words and perspectives.I am thrilled with my Low F and will be buying more harps from Harmonicaland.

Trying to expand my repertoire of songs and the lastest need low key instruments. This baby fits the bill perfectly. Added a Low C already Low A and a Low Low F (just because) coming.

Absolute worst harmonica I've ever bought out of the box. The 1 and 3 blow reeds were bent in and stuck. It was an easy fix, and now it's my favorite low-tuned harp. It was disappointing that it needed work out of the box to make it playable (especially for such an expensive harp), but, again, it was an easy fix.

This thing has a great mellow sound that you can use in your house, but can still get volume if you open up and wail. No Reed rattle.

Very happy with my purchase. Killer price! Playing it held in a harmonica holder and a soprano ukulele. Great contrast. Also, doing the same thing with the low, low F. New, rich sounds compared to my Hohner Marine Band harmonicas. Lovin' it. Feel free to post this review. Thankyou!

This harp plays so much better than my other brand name low A. It just does.

Hohner Crossovers have quick and consistent response and a clear, bright sound like no other harp I've played. Thunderbirds bring the same amazing qualities to low keys with almost no noticeable lag or delay on the low reeds. They do take just a little getting used to, but you'll love the results you can get.

I really like the Thunderbird lo. I am discovering things in the lower octive that are new and that I like. The Thunderbird has great sound and ease of playing. I will another key soon.

Haven't played one in some 40 years,

I have been playing harmonica since the 4th grade. I have been using Hohner harmonicas the most. I have tried Suzuki, Seidel, Lee Oskar & others, but keep returning to, what I consider, the tried & true Hohner.
